Fish Stool (EL389)
This stool is quite durable and is made from sustainably harvested pine wood that grows in the mountains of El Salvador. The legs are made from the actual bark of the tree and adds a gorgeous, rustic look. The top of the stool is stained a deep blue color that looks like water. Two hand-painted blue and green-toned fish swim through some wavy aqua and purple kelp. A perfect stool for a special child's gift. Fairly traded from El Salvador, measures 8.5" x 10"
The El Salvadorean cooperative that makes these lovely wood items, owns a piece of land in the mountains outside of their town where they plant and sustainably harvest trees to supply about 40% of their wood.
