Hand-carved in the northern highlands of Guatemala, this beautiful frying spatula was made with no slits so you can pick up more from the frying pan. It is made from certified wood that is harvested based on the practice of replanting trees as they are used. The price reflects a level of quality that supports an incredible cooperative of spoon makers called Cucharas Ixchel de Peten. To maintain the luster, rub the spatula with a small amount of food grade mineral oil after hand-washing and thorough drying.
